Beloved father of Sheila, Micky, David, June, Alan, Linda, Roger, Brian, Pauline and not forgetting
our little brother Ronald Victor Dale who past away at 5 month old 5th December in 1946.
My father passed away after suffering with cancer in Good Hope Hospital he is sadly missed by all
of our family.

FOOTPRINTS
♥ ♰ ♥ ♰ ♥ ♰ ♥ ♰ ♥
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky
flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand ; one
belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He
noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also
noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord you said that once I decided to
follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome
times of my life, there are only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you
the most, you would leave me. "
the Lord replied, "my precious precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your
times of trial and suffering when I saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

The person I am today;
You built a strong foundation

I've grown up with your values,
And I'm very glad I did;
And I am grateful dear father,
For all you taught me as a kid.

Dad Goodbye
Dad I'm sorry I never said 'goodbye' as this was hard for me to do, you gave me something special more than you will ever know, the inner strength to cope with life and to fight for what is right.
When I'm alone I think of you, as a child you were my hero someone I could depend on.
Remembering all the happy times and the special love we shared , its then I need the inner strength to walk the path of life.
They say time is a healer but I dont think this is true because each day that passes by the more I'm missing you.
Dad Thankyou for always being there for me in good times and the bad, your still my hero, love you to bits.
